Meet the Faces Behind Our New Collection
Our Grace in the Garden collection celebrates the beauty, serenity, and joy that gardening brings into our lives. To bring this collection to life, we had the privilege of collaborating with two incredibly talented women: Lil Hamblin, a photographer from rural NSW, and Grace Quast, a model who is also deeply connected to her roots in the farming community. Together, their creativity and passion for nature reflect the very essence of this collection, and we are thrilled to share their story with you.

Lil Hamblin, a regional photographer with a love of flowers.
Lil Hamblin lives in a tiny town called Wee Waa, nestled in rural New South Wales. Despite its size, Wee Waa is a place of peace and community, qualities that Lil has come to cherish. "It’s quiet, peaceful, and has a real sense of community," she says.
For Lil, gardening is more than just a hobby—it’s a way to manage her anxiety and feel more grounded. "I love the calm that comes from being in the garden, just watching plants grow. There’s something so fulfilling about working with the earth, and it makes me feel more connected to God."
Lil’s journey as a photographer is closely tied to her creative spirit. While she’s married to a cotton farmer and often finds herself immersed in farm life, photography is where her soul truly shines. In fact, she plans to launch an Instagram series documenting the cotton life cycle, a project that excites her as she continues to learn more about Australia’s fibre industry.
The inspiration behind Lil’s love for gardening comes from her mum, whose vibrant cottage-style garden is a testament to her grace and optimism. "Every time I work in my garden, I think of her," Lil shares. It’s no surprise that her favourite season is spring, a time when everything blooms and comes to life. "Watching the flowers bloom and being able to pick them to give to family and friends is such a joy."

Through her lens, Lil captures the beauty of our Grace in the Garden collection with the same attention to detail and reverence for nature that she applies to her photography and life. Her photos highlight the serenity that gardening brings, perfectly reflecting the spirit of the collection.
Grace Quast, a model and journalist who lives by the seasons
Grace Quast lives on Domang, a family farm in northern New South Wales, where she and her family grow wheat, chickpeas, mung beans, and sorghum. Life on the farm has ingrained in her a deep respect for nature and its cycles. "I love living with the seasons. They are a constant reminder that nothing lasts forever, which keeps you present in happy times and reminds you that no hard times will last forever."
Gardening is a family affair for Grace, especially now that her son, Hunter, is old enough to join in. "At the moment, gardening is one of Hunter's favourite things to do. We spend every morning outside, we just need to work on him not digging up the seedlings we planted the week before!" she laughs.
Grace is not just a model—she’s a journalist and photographer by trade, a lover of classic fashion, and someone who constantly draws inspiration from the world around her. "I enjoy magazines, coffee table books, and meeting people. I’ve been to beautiful gardens and homes, and I’m always tucking away details in my memory bank that I want to incorporate into our forever home and garden."
Like Lil, Grace’s favourite season is early spring, a time when the pear trees and bulbs begin to bloom, and the cool air invites you to spend all day outside. It’s a season of renewal, much like the collection she helped bring to life.
