Le Sac is made of thick durable 100% natural cotton canvas.

Le Sac garden belts can fit most body shapes and sizes. The belt can be worn on your hip or higher on your waist. The belt can expand to 130 cm from belt to buckle. 

Le Sac has three pockets. Two are made for larger items, for example, pruners, phones, gloves etc. The smaller pocket on the left side was designed for items such as seeds, AirPods, etc. The pockets surprisingly can fit a lot!

Le Sac belts are made for hard work and can be gently washed by hand or in the machine on a gentle cycle - where possible we suggest spot cleaning. We recommend spraying your Le Sac with a fabric protector before using it. It’s important to note that your Le Sac isn’t nature proof, and will age like any other natural item if it spends long hours in the garden.

High quality leather and suede should age well with care. To keep your thorn-proof gloves in great condition please follow the below:

2. Deep Cleaning: For tougher stains, use a suede or leather cleaner specifically designed for the material. Apply sparingly and follow the product instructions.

If you're ordering more it will be far more cost effective to order the hat separately to keep it under 1kg weight.  This is due to how Australia Post's charging system.

We ship our hats from regional NSW Australia using Australia Post, the most cost effective and reliable carrier in our region.

The hats are posted in a hat box, to protect them and not crush transit, we do not make any profit from shipping, we just pass the costs on to you directly.

One size fits most. The internal ribbon allows for custom tightening between small to large heads.The largest head circumference the hat will fit is 54 to 60cm.

Yes! The hat is classic enough for so many occasions, perfect for sunny days, garden outings, or relaxed beach strolls.

Yes – raffia offers light UV protection, plus style you’ll actually want to wear.

No – tighten the internal ribbon and it stays put. Even on the mower.

Raffia is a natural fibre derived from the raffia palm. It’s lightweight, breathable, and has a beautifully organic texture. Over time it softens slightly, which gives the hat character and a lived-in elegance.

Use a soft measuring tape and wrap it around your head just above the ears and over the forehead (the widest part).
The Jardin Hat fits up to 58 cm. It includes an internal ribbon so you can tighten it for a smaller fit. If you're between two sizes, we usually recommend choosing the smaller and adjusting in — the ribbon helps secure the fit.

Because raffia is a natural fibre, over time it can soften, especially with humidity or pressure. But you can restore shape with gentle care:

Hold the hat over steam (e.g. from a kettle or steamer) and gently reshape the brim and crown with your fingers

Or mist lightly with water, then reshape and allow it to air dry in natural light (not in strong sun)

Use a rounded object (like an upturned bowl or a hat block) to help support the shape while drying

Store the hat in its box or fill the crown with soft tissue paper to maintain its form

Please avoid getting the hat very wet or submerging it in water. Raffia can absorb moisture, which may weaken fibres or distort shape. If your hat does get wet: blot gently with a soft towel, reshape while damp, then air-dry (out of direct sunlight or heat).

Best practices:

Use the provided hat box or a breathable storage container

Fill the crown with tissue paper to support the shape

Don’t stack heavy items on top of it

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat

Occasionally take it out for gentle reshaping if it seems to settle or sag

Natural fibres like raffia can lighten or deepen slightly with sunlight and wear. That’s part of their charm — they age with personality. Prolonged, strong sunlight may accelerate fading, so when possible store away from direct UV exposure.

Yes — gently. Steaming or light misting helps relax the fibres so you can reshape. Some sources suggest avoiding heavy starches or rigid sprays (they may harm the natural fibre) and sticking with gentle methods.

Here’s a safe method:

Steam or mist evenly

Reshape the crown and brim gently

Let dry naturally on a support (hat block or rounded form)

Repeat if needed, always gradually

Raffia is a firm natural fibre and should not be rolled, folded, or packed flat, as this can cause permanent creases or cracking.
For travel:

Wear it on the plane, car or train — the best way to protect the shape

Or pack it carefully in your suitcase by filling the crown with soft clothing (like scarves or socks) and placing it brim-up

Surround it with lightweight items for support — avoid heavy objects on top

Once you arrive, steam gently if it needs reshaping

Your Le Sac hatbox is perfect for storage and safe travel by car but is not designed for air travel due to size.

Use a soft, dry brush to remove dust and debris. For spot stains, dampen a soft cloth (or sponge) with mild soapy water and gently blot. Wipe again with a clean damp cloth to remove soap residue, then let air-dry.

Avoid harsh chemicals or soaking — these can damage or discolor the fibres.

Your orders will generally leave our warehouse 1 to 4 business days after you place the order. Once your order is dispatched you will receive an email, this is automated and can sometimes find its way to your junk mail.

As a small business, we don't offer free shipping at this stage. We really want to keep our product prices as affordable as possible. To do this, we charge for shipping at the same rates that Australia Post provides, rather than building those costs into our prices.
